We offer the highest level of quality, safety and skill when treating your cosmetic concerns.

Botox

Botox is considered neuromodulators and allow for decreased movement in a particular muscle group. They are extremely popular agents used to treat the lines that are caused by facial movement and expression. It is one of our favorite procedures to perform because of the extremely high patient satisfaction rate, and a great place to start if you are considering a cosmetic procedure for the first time. Commonly treated areas include the horizontal forehead lines, vertical frown lines, crow’s feet, lip lines, pebbling of the chin, and neck bands.

Fillers

Filler can do amazing things to restore the natural volume and contours to the aging face. We have learned over the years that it is not about filling lines, but lifting and revolumizing the face to its more youthful form. More and more evidence is available showing that placement of fillers can even stimulate collagen production, lending to its anti-aging abilities long after the filler is gone. We see the best results when we combine fillers with neuromodulators (like Botox) and skin care.

At Yorba Linda Dermatology, our fillers are made of hyaluronic acid. In its natural form, hyaluronic acid is a sugar found in the skin and joints. Hyaluronic fillers are synthetic, biodegradable versions of these naturally occurring sugars and are considered to be extremely safe. We use a combination of fillers in the Juvederm and Restylane family of products to rejuvenate the face with natural looking results.

Kybella

Kybella is a non-surgical injectable that is used to reduce submental fat, otherwise known as the “double chin.” The injection contains a naturally occurring molecule which destroys the fat cells, leaving other tissues unharmed. Most patients will need 3 treatments, spaced about 6 weeks apart. Downtime is usually minimal and consists of soreness, redness and bruising.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is used for the treatment of leg veins and is a relatively simple procedure performed by injecting saline solution into the vein with a very fine needle, causing the vein to collapse. The collapsed vein is then broken down by the body over the next couple of months. After the procedure, the leg is wrapped with an elastic wrap that must be worn for at least 24 hours. Compression hose are recommended for 2 weeks following the procedure. Most patients can expect a 60-90% improvement.

Microneedling

Automated micro-needling (also known as collagen induction therapy or CIT) is a treatment in aesthetic medicine that can help treat the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and the skin’s overall appearance. During this procedure, the microneedling device is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. Automated micro-needling also creates superficial micro-channels which can be used with topical gels, creams and serums to help improve the appearance of the skin.

Peels

Peels exfoliate the top layer of skin cells, revealing a brighter, smoother complexion, and allow your topical products to work more effectively. They also stimulate your own natural collagen production, thereby providing long term benefits. We have peels for pigment, texture and even acne. Our custom line of Bright & Beautiful Peels are a staff favorite!

Stretch Marks and Scars

We have never had the perfect solution for stretch marks (or striae) and scars, but we are certainly getting better at treating them. We can get significant improvement using microneedling in combination with topical products, like retinoids for stretch marks and silicone gels for scars. With multiple treatments acne scars, surgical scars and stretch marks can improve!
